This photograph was taken on 4 January 2014 one day after the storm conditions seen in the first three photographs in this series.  On this tide the high water provides good fishing.  24 hours earlier the sea was so high that it was breaking over the sea walls seen besides the two fishermen, causing flooding in the land behind.  The unfortunate fish?  Well, they are Morecambe Bay fluke which perhaps thought they were going to enjoy a quiet day after the conditions of yesterday.
