A pragmatic and appropriately rural method of keeping the grass tidy in the older parts of the graveyard of Urswick Parish Church of St. Mary and St. Michael is to permit a small number of sheep to graze there.  The sheep seen in this photograph are Shetland, a breed which is far from common in rural Low Furness.
